Housekeeping Attendant (Suites at Rouse)

  • Qualifications:
    Suites at Rouse, a premier personal care home in Warren County, is seeking a dedicated and caring staff member to join our team as a Housekeeper. This full-time position is 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, 7AM to 3PM.

    Duties include cleaning resident rooms and common areas throughout the building. High school diploma required. One to two years’ experience in a housekeeping related position desired. Ability to pass criminal background checks. Compensation is based on experience. Person must be self-motivated.

Care Cottage Companion-Weekend Only

We are offering a unique opportunity for individuals who would enjoy being a companion to seniors and able to commit to working only weekends or occasionally on weekends as needed. As we work to provide more options of care to seniors in the community, our need for quality compassionate individuals grows. We are looking for staff at our Warren and Youngsville Care Cottages. Rouse’s Care Cottage Companions care for seniors by assisting with activities of daily living, attending to their personal needs and providing comfort to three seniors.

    Your role will be to provide assistance to three seniors living in a home setting where responsibilities will include light housekeeping and companion services in the home environment including housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry, and assistance with daily living activities.

    Weekend Only and Per Diem positions available for:
    •Saturday and Sunday (6:00am to 6:00pm)
    •Saturday and Sunday (6:00pm to 6:00am)

  • Qualifications: Required: Ability to ensure the highest standard of Food/Nutrition Service to Residents on Household unit according to facility policies/procedures and regulatory agencies. Able to learn, understand and provide special diet and allergy restrictions. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of people. Good Communication skills with staff and Residents to promote positive homelike environment. Able to understand and perform portion control, inventory control and infection control standards. Able to perform food preparation duties required on the unit. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, pull and move throughout the day to perform required sanitation of household equipment and area. Able to learn quantity food cooking to assist with coverage needs. Lifting up to 50 # as needed. Must work as a team player. Will be trained to be back-up Assistant Cook.
